I'm Alex — a developer based somewhere with good coffee and decent Wi-Fi. I've spent the last several years building things for the web, from small side projects to larger products used by real people.

I care about craft: writing code that's readable, designing interfaces that feel intuitive, and shipping work I'm genuinely proud of. I believe the best software is the kind that gets out of the user's way.

Outside of work I'm usually reading, hiking, or tinkering with something that has absolutely no commercial potential but is extremely satisfying to build.
